Alexis embarked on her journey in the field of biomedical science with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth in 2012. During her studies, she gained invaluable experience working at Salisbury District Hospital Pathology department within the Biochemistry team.

In 2016, Alexis relocated to London where she continued her career at prestigious institutions including Guys’ and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital. During her time there, she pursued further education, completing a postgraduate diploma in Biomedical Science at the University of Greenwich in 2020.

Driven by a desire to contribute to her hometown community, Alexis returned to Salisbury in 2023 and joined Salisbury Fertility Centre as a Reproductive Science Practitioner. In her role, she primarily focuses on Andrology, handling sperm samples, performing semen analysis, and supporting sperm fertility preservation. Additionally, Alexis provides crucial laboratory support to the embryologists and takes charge of administrative duties for both the laboratory team and patients.
