Bsc (Hons) Veterinary Bioscience

Trainee Clinical Scientist

Jessica completed her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Bioscience BSc (Hons) in 2022 at the University of Surrey. During her studies, she worked in an NHS Pathology laboratory to gain more experience. Throughout her academic journey, she discovered embryology and realised she had found her dream job. She is now a pre-registrant Clinical Embryologist enrolled on the Scientist Training Programme (STP), pursuing an MSc in Clinical Science, and working towards becoming a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Clinical Embryologist.

Jessica joined Salisbury Fertility Centre in 2022, where she is focusing on training in many laboratory procedures. She is enjoying every learning opportunity she gets, and currently, she is taking the lead on transporting gametes and embryos.

“I love being able to work in a fascinating field whilst still providing excellent patient support. It is a huge privilege to be part of a patient’s fertility journey.”
