Victoria Wylie

Registered Nurse & Sonographer

Senior Fertility Nurse Co-ordinator

Victoria has worked within Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust since 1998, initially as a nursing assistant and then achieving an advanced diploma in Adult Nursing in 2002.  Gaining extensive and varied nursing experience including on the gynaecological ward over the following 2 years, Victoria joined the Fertility Centre in 2004.

Victoria’s role involves providing individual patient care which can take the form of planning treatment, education, support (both face to face and over the phone) as well as providing holistic individual care. Victoria also completes Intrauterine Inseminations (IUIs) and Hycosys (tubal assessments), and is a qualified sonographer and regularly scans patients at all stages of their fertility treatment.

“I feel very privileged to be in this role and able to do something I love on a daily basis. The variety of the role and individualised treatments means that I am always learning. Direct patient care is the most rewarding part of the job and feeling I am giving our patients a chance of a family is fulfilling.”
